Up on the wall is a feature I intend to repeat in my Blog
I get a great deal of pleasure from seeing the work I have created finally in it’s forever home. When people have been kind enough to share the chosen location for their painting, I will share it with you. The first of the ‘up on the wall’ series of posts is dedicated to a painting that was a huge pleasure to paint.
I was finally able to visit RHS Garden Rosemoor on a return trip from north Cornwall. This garden (run by the Royal Horticultural Society) is tucked away in the North Devon countryside just a short distance from Great Torrington. It is a fairly long journey back to Hampshire in our old camper so this was a very welcome detour and pit stop.

Mr. McGregors Vegetable Garden
This is a painting that depicts the recreation by the very talented RHS team at Rosemoor.
The well known story created by author Beatrix Potter told of a rabbit eating the lettuces from the vegetable patch.
Mr McGregor was always trying to keep hungry rabbits away from his crops.

It seems entirely appropriate this painting now sits proudly on the wall of a kitchen
It is a little unusual for a non-framed piece of artwork to be requested but I think it looks great.
Limited edition giclee prints are available of this painting. Click here for details and to buy online.
